This Privacy Policy applies to information about you that Jrumz collects through (i) your use of and access to the Website and (ii) electronic communications between you and the Website, any user, or any other person or entity through the Website.  This Privacy Policy applies to all users of our Website, products and services.  

This Privacy Policy does not apply to: (i) information collected by Jrumz offline or through any other means, including on any other website operated by us or any third party (including our affiliates and subsidiaries); or (ii) information that third parties (including our affiliates and subsidiaries) collect about you directly, including through any application or content (including advertising) that may link to or be accessible on or from the Website.

We will also update the "Last Updated Date" at the top of this Privacy Policy.  Such modified or updated Privacy Policy will be automatically effective on the date posted.  You are responsible for periodically checking the Privacy Policy for any updates and for ensuring that we have a current, active and deliverable email address for you.

Information from Our Partner Audiologists.  If you order custom Products, we may collect and retain Personal Data that you provide to an audiologist in order to custom fit your purchased goods.  This information may include your contact information and the impression of your ear that was taken by the audiologist.

As you navigate through and interact with our Website, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain Information about your equipment, browsing actions and patterns, including:

The California Consumer Privacy Act

  • Request and receive information pertaining to Jrumz's data collection practices during the prior twelve (12) months, including categories of Personal Information collected, categories of sources of such information, the Business Purpose , as define below, for collecting or sharing such information, and categories of third parties with whom such information is shared.

  • Request and receive disclosure of our information sharing practices during the prior twelve (12) months, including a list of the categories of Personal Information sold with the category of third party recipients, and a list of the categories of Personal Information that we disclosed for a business purpose.

  • Request and receive a copy of your Personal Information collected during the prior twelve (12) months.

  • Request that we not sell your Personal Information.

  • Request that we delete your Personal Information, with certain exceptions.

 

Making CCPA Requests

 

In order to make a request for disclosure, California residents must email [jrumz@highlevelhearing.com] and indicate "California Rights" in the subject line of your communication.  We will ask for information allowing for verification that you are the person about whom we collected Personal Information, and will use that information only for that purpose.  We may request that you submit a signed statement that you are the individual you claim to be.  We cannot respond to your request or provide you with Personal Information if we cannot verify your identity and confirm that the Personal Information relates to you.  We will acknowledge receipt of your request and will endeavor to respond within forty-five (45) days of receipt of your request.  If we require more time, we will notify you of our need for additional time and may take up to an additional forty-five (45) days.  We cannot respond to your request or provide you with Personal Information if we cannot verify your identity and confirm that the Personal Information relates to you.

 

You may make a request for disclosure of our information collection practices, the information we collected about you, or our information sharing practices twice within a twelve (12) month period, and you may make a deletion request at any time.  We will attempt to respond within forty-five (45) days of receipt of your request, but if additional time is required, we will notify you and may take up to an additional forty-five (45) days.

For requests for a copy of Personal Information we have collected during the previous twelve (12) months prior to your request, we will attempt to provide the information in a format that is readily useable, including by mailing you a paper copy or providing an electronic copy to you.

If you request that your Personal Information be deleted, California law permits us to retain necessary information.  We are not required to comply with a request to delete information if the information is necessary for us to detect, protect against, or prosecute security incidents, fraud, or illegal activity and to comply with legal obligations.

Sale of Personal Information

 

Jrumz does not disclose Personal Information in exchange for the payment of money.  We may disclose Personal Information to certain third parties, as well as our affiliates and partners, who provide us with services such as assisting Jrumz with advertising, data analysis, and security.  This assistance may fall under the definition of "consideration" and be considered a "sale" under the CCPA.  This includes identifiers, protected classifications under California or federal law including age (40 years or older) and medical condition, commercial information, internet or other similar network activity, and/or geolocation information, and other information as listed below.

We obtain the categories of Personal Information listed above from the categories of services listed in Section III of this Privacy Policy.  We may use, sell, or disclose the Personal Information for the purposes described in Section IV  and Section V of this Privacy Policy, and for the Business
